Dr. Elizabeth Avaricio

Dr. Elizabeth Avaricio has been a pediatrician for more than 15 years.

She received her medical degree from SUNY Medical Center in Brooklyn and then completed her internship and residency at the prestigious Cohen Children's Medical Center, part of the North Shore University/Long Island Jewish Medical System. She is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics as well as a member of the Queens Pediatric Society.

Dr. Avaricio takes an active role in teaching medical students and residents. She contributes to medical publications and lectures in the community on different matters of pediatric medicine such as childhood obesity. Dr. Avaricio is married with three children.

She speaks English, Spanish and Filipino.

The doctor is a lifelong learner. Not only have she received advanced medical training in pediatrics, she continually pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in child health care.
